How does the whitening process work?
A safe Hydrogen Peroxide gel is applied to the tooth surface. Under a LED lamp the hydrogen peroxide gel immediately begins to break down into tiny water and oxygen ions. The oxygen ions penetrate into the enamel and attack stain molecules. During which the stain molecules become short and clear in colour. The short and clear molecules are removed from your tooth and naturally dissolved by your saliva.

Propylene glycol, Glycerol, Deionized Water, Hydrogen Peroxide (6%), Carbomer, Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Menthol, Sodium Hydroxide.
What is the main difference in results between the HELLO WHITE in-chair treatments and the Advance Home Kits?
HELLO WHITE are so pleased to offer two types of premium teeth whitening solutions for their clients that both achieve amazing results. The main difference between the two teeth whitening options are the in-chair clients will experience INSTANT results 5-14 shades whiter within the hour. These types of results can be easily achieved with the Advanced Home Kit when persistent. HELLO WHITE recommend nightly teeth whitening for 7-10 consecutive evenings to optimise results. With the Advanced Home Kit we recommend a fortnightly teeth whiten treatments to maximise and maintain results.
How white will my teeth get within the 1 hour in-chair teeth whitening treatment?
Teeth whitening results vary depending on each individual and the extent of discolouration. With the HELLO WHITE in chair treatment, generally a clients tooth shade will be 5-14 shades whiter. The more stained your teeth are the more dramatic the results will be.
How long will my results last?
Teeth whitening, whether performed by a dentist or a teeth whitening technician is not permanent. results and length of results can vary anywhere between 6-12 months. Lifestyle habits, oral hygiene, diet as well as genetics can all play a role in how long your results last. It is recommended to each of our clients to have a booster session 6-8 weeks after your initial session to ensure your desired shade is obtained and secured. HELLO WHITE also recommend to our clients to A 'White Diet' for at least 48 hours after their treatment to allow the enamel pores to reclose and eliminating any staining.
Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?
Teeth whitening is not recommended for children under the age of 16 or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Teeth whitening is also not suitable for anyone who suffers from gum disease.
Does HELLO WHITE teeth whitening cause sensitivity?
Everyone's teeth are different, some users may have no sensitivity at all, where others may experience temporary sensitivity. It is important to note that if you do experience sensitivity after any teeth whitening treatment, it is only temporary and should subside within a few hours. The most common cause of sensitivity after a teeth whitening treatment is temperature based, to avoid sensitivity avoid extreme temperatures. ie Freezing cold or boiling hot. Teeth whitening should never cause any pain, whether performed by a dentist or a teeth whitening technician.
